We are seeking motivated applicants for 1 fully funded PhD positions, starting in Fall 2023. The projects will focus on engineering microorganisms and proteins for: 1) biodegradation of emerging contaminants, 2) carbon sequestration, and 3) resource recovery.
The successful applicant will have a BS or MS degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, bioengineering, or related fields, have an excellent academic record, and demonstrate good communication and scientific writing skills. Wet-lab experience in molecular biology, microbiology, genetic engineering, and/or biochemistry is a plus.
